Job Description
In this role, you'll assist with a wide range of construction and site development projects including agricultural facilities, commercial buildings, housing, and other company properties. This position offers hands-on work in a team-oriented environment where safety, quality craftsmanship, and reliability are valued every day.
Responsibilities:
- Perform construction tasks including carpentry, concrete work, roofing, painting, plumbing, drywall, water line installation, and site preparation
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, vehicles, skid steers, and other equipment while following OSHA and company safety standards
- Receive, organize, and manage materials while maintaining clean, safe, and efficient job sites
- Read basic blueprints and complete projects according to company quality standards and applicable building codes
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, crew members, and subcontractors to complete projects on schedule
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in construction, general labor, carpentry, concrete, or a related field preferred
- Ability to safely operate hand and power tools; skid steer or light equipment experience is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and construction plans
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic with dependable attendance and the ability to adapt to changing job site priorities
