Job Description
Ready to launch your career in advanced manufacturing? We are seeking motivated Semiconductor Manufacturing Technicians to support the production of advanced semiconductor devices in a clean, high-tech manufacturing environment.
This position combines semiconductor wafer processing with precision manufacturing operations. You'll operate advanced production equipment, inspect miniature components using microscopes, handle delicate semiconductor wafers, and support critical manufacturing processes that produce high-performance optical and electronic components.

Responsibilities
- Operate semiconductor manufacturing equipment following established work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Process semiconductor wafers and precision components in a cleanroom environment.
- Operate specialized manufacturing equipment such as coating systems, inspection equipment, and automated production tools.
- Use microscopes, tweezers, and vacuum tools to inspect and handle miniature components.
- Perform precision manufacturing tasks while maintaining strict quality standards.
- Handle semiconductor wafers, production materials, and approved manufacturing chemicals following safety procedures.
- Complete work orders and accurately document production activities using company systems.
- Support preventive maintenance activities and perform routine equipment checks.
- Identify and report equipment issues, quality concerns, or process deviations.
- Cross-train across multiple production areas and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain cleanroom standards while following all PPE, safety, and quality procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree or technical training in Manufacturing, Engineering, Electronics, or a related field is a plus.
Experience
- Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, semiconductor, cleanroom, or electronics experience preferred.
- Experience handling small or delicate components is highly desirable.
- Experience operating production equipment or working in a technical manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Entry-level candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
Skills
- Spanish-speaking candidates preferred; Spanish-only speakers will be considered.
- Basic computer skills and data entry experience.
- Excellent manual dexterity and steady hands for handling miniature components.
- Ability to work with microscopes and precision tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to cross-train in multiple manufacturing processes.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ability to perform repetitive precision manufacturing tasks requiring focus and accuracy.
- Comfortable handling very small components using microscopes, tweezers, and precision tools.
