Job Description
As a Machine Operator II, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, adjusting, and monitoring production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to maintain equipment performance while meeting production goals. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, takes pride in producing quality products, and is committed to continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and adjust production equipment to meet production and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and make machine adjustments to minimize downtime.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance checks on machinery.
- Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with safety, GMP, and operating procedures.
- Complete production, downtime, and maintenance documentation accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to support efficient operations and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Food and beverage manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with automated production equipment; HMI, PLC, and VFD experience preferred.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, and stand for extended periods while lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Fluent in English with strong communication, teamwork, and attention-to-detail skills.

The base pay range for this position is $23-32.52/hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
