Job Description
The Operations Manager will strengthen the operational backbone of a growing manufacturing organization by coordinating materials, inventory, vendors, systems, projects, and operational processes. This role works directly with the VP of Operations to improve execution, build structure, and support scalable systems. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution. This is a leadership-track opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and driving accountability.
Responsibilities:
• Manage purchasing workflows, purchase orders, supplier coordination, and outstanding order follow-up.
• Maintain inventory visibility across raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods while supporting reconciliation and reporting.
• Coordinate logistics, shipment planning, fulfillment activity, and handoffs with manufacturing and logistics partners.
• Support ERP implementation, operational dashboards, reporting systems, KPIs, and process consistency.
• Lead operational improvement projects, track milestones, follow up on action items, and escalate risks.
• Support quality documentation, testing/hold/release workflows, CAPA tracking, and process compliance.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, or related fields.
• Experience managing projects, systems, or operational processes.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, communication, and follow-through skills.
• Experience with ERP systems or business management software.
• Advanced proficiency in spreadsheets and reporting tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred: experience in manufacturing, chemical, pharmaceutical, food production, process industries, inventory management, procurement, lean manufacturing, ERP improvement, or team leadership.

Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
