Job Description
We are seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to support facility maintenance operations during a short-term assignment. In this role, you will perform routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and general building upkeep to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently while meeting daily maintenance needs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on building systems and equipment
- Complete preventive maintenance tasks and inspections as assigned
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues and assist with repairs in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and equipment
- Follow all safety procedures and document completed maintenance activities
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous maintenance technician, facilities maintenance, or building maintenance experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general repair practices
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the shift
