Job Description
Our client is seeking a dependable Café Assistant to support daily café operations and ensure the safe, timely preparation and service of meals. This role assists with food preparation, kitchen sanitation, inventory monitoring, and volunteer support while maintaining compliance with health and safety standards. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, organized, and committed to providing excellent service in a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with daily café operations, meal preparation, and food service activities
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness through dishwashing, sanitizing, and organization of supplies
• Support volunteers and ensure adherence to safety and service guidelines
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to leadership
• Follow all food safety, health, and sanitation requirements

Qualifications and Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of one (1) year of food service or related experience
• Food Service Manager Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
• First Aid and CPR certifications or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment
• Valid Texas Driver’s License with reliable transportation
• Minimum of one (1) year of food service or related experience

The base pay range for this position is $37,440–$41,600 annually, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
