Position Overview
A growing logistics and distribution company in Rincon, GA is seeking an experienced Cherry Picker Operator to join their warehouse team. This position is responsible for safely operating warehouse equipment to retrieve, move, and stage inventory while maintaining productivity and accuracy standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working at elevated heights in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a cherry picker to pull and replenish inventory from elevated storage locations
- Use RF scanners to track inventory movements and complete order fulfillment tasks accurately
- Pick, pack, and stage customer orders according to company procedures
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Follow all company safety policies and operational procedures
Qualifications
- Previous cherry picker experience required
- Ability to work comfortably at elevated heights for extended periods
- Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
