Job Summary
The Food Kiosk Operator plays an important role in supporting food service operations during scheduled events at the George R. Brown Convention Center. In this role, you will assist with preparing and serving food and beverages, processing payments, maintaining cleanliness, and delivering excellent customer service to guests.
The ideal candidate is dependable, energetic, and able to work efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining strong customer service and food safety standards.
Responsibilities
➢ Prepare and serve food and beverages at assigned kiosk locations
➢ Greet guests and provide friendly customer service
➢ Handle electronic payments and process transactions accurately
➢ Maintain a clean and organized kiosk area throughout the shift
➢ Restock food, beverages, and supplies as needed
➢ Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
➢ Support inventory management and assist with daily kiosk setup and breakdown
➢ Complete additional duties as assigned by onsite management
➢ Greet guests and provide friendly customer service
➢ Handle electronic payments and process transactions accurately
➢ Maintain a clean and organized kiosk area throughout the shift

Qualifications and Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous food service or retail experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain professional
• Must be dependable and punctual
• Must complete TRN Hold Harmless Agreement prior to assignment
• Must obtain Texas Food Handler Certificate (employee cost: $7.00) before start date
• No drug test required
• Previous food service or retail experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain professional
