Job Description
The Operator, Digital Press, is responsible for operating digital printing equipment to meet production and quality standards. This role operates presses that may include Indigo, Wide Format, Dye Sublimation, Onset, Durst, Vutek, and Spyder equipment. The operator will complete print jobs according to customer specifications, monitor production quality throughout each run, and support routine equipment maintenance to maintain optimal printing conditions.
Responsibilities:
• Operate digital print equipment and the software necessary for print operations.
• Complete jobs according to customer specifications in a timely and accurate manner.
• Monitor production output throughout the run for quality and visually inspect work for defects and color accuracy.
• Perform routine maintenance, ensure materials are in stock, and properly document labor and materials consumed on each job.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, follow pressroom safety procedures, troubleshoot with the Lead Operator, and support Apprentice and Feeder team members.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED equivalent, or 520 hours as an Imagine temporary employee along with manager's approval to hire full-time.
• Proficient in computer applications, including Mac and Windows operating systems.
• Good written and oral communication skills with the ability to follow documented procedures and understand oral and written instructions.
• Ability to read and understand tape measures and other measuring equipment, with math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, attention to workstation, and a positive safety attitude.

The base pay range for this position is $18-$30, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
