Job Description:
The Event & Warehouse Operations Associate is responsible for safely handling, preparing, repairing, and transporting furniture and event equipment for trade shows and special events.
Weekend work may be required based on business needs. Overtime may be required as approved or requested by management. This will be at various convention and expo centers throughout the Greater Orlando Area.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks with care to prevent damage
- Move furniture and event materials to and from trade show booths using carts and other equipment
- Pick, stage, and prepare products for delivery or transfer
- Tag, store, relocate, and conduct cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented event setting
Qualifications and Requirements:
- HS Diploma or Equivalent
- Previous warehouse, event setup, moving, or repair experience preferred
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Frequent standing, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling
- Ability to work in a warehouse and event environment
