Job Description
We’re looking for a dependable Material Handler to support all phases of the manufacturing process. This role plays a key part in keeping production running smoothly by managing incoming materials, verifying inventory, and preparing finished goods for shipment. If you’re detail-oriented and enjoy a hands-on role, this could be a great fit for you.
We’re looking for a dependable Material Handler to support all phases of the manufacturing process. This role plays a key part in keeping production running smoothly by managing incoming materials, verifying inventory, and preparing finished goods for shipment. Responsibilities
- Receive and inventory incoming shipments
- Verify part numbers against MRP and manufacturing requirement
- Document and enter inventory data into the MRP system
- Use counting scales and reel counters to confirm quantities
- Identify and reject damaged or incorrect materials per SOP
- Package finished products according to shipping requirements
- Label boxes and prepare shipments
- Maintain accurate documentation (travelers, packing slips, etc.)
Qualifications and Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of material handling experience preferred (will train the right candidate)
- Ability to use counting equipment such as scales and reel counters
- Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, stoop, stretch, and lift materials throughout the shift
