Your New Role:
The Compliance Officer plays a key role in ensuring adherence to HUD regulations and organizational policies. This position is responsible for participating in hearings, reviewing case details, and making determinations based on evidence presented. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, knowledgeable in compliance standards, and capable of making fair and consistent decisions while following established guidelines and resolution procedures.

Responsibilities
- Participate in hearings and review case documentation and evidence
- Make informed decisions and determinations based on hearing outcomes
- Ensure compliance with HUD regulations and internal policies
- Apply rules and procedures consistently to resolve compliance matters
- Maintain accurate records of hearings, decisions, and resolutions
- Communicate decisions clearly and professionally to all parties involved
- Monitor compliance activities and identify potential risks or violations
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Experience with HUD regulations required
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Ability to interpret and apply compliance policies and procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Prior experience in compliance, housing, or regulatory environments preferred

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base salary range for this position, which is $20.00 hourly not including benefits, potential bonuses or additional compensation. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future & continued salary growth
