Job Summary:
A large County Government Precinct within Harris County is looking for a Videographer/Programmer to support their communications department. This position will be responsible for developing content ideas as well as attending various events across the Precinct. You will collaborate with and support the creative team’s collateral creation while cataloging and organizing multimedia content files
Responsibilities:
- Develop concepts, organizes, records, and edit video content to achieve Precinct objectives
- Develop motion graphics for video and online needs ciliates efficient office operations by maintaining files of productions, graphics, and special effects
- Set up and direct Livestream events
- Provide supplemental still photography as needed
- Maintain inventory and integrity of video equipment
- Functions as producer and/or director on video projects by evaluating assignment objectives and constituent audience while staying within budget and on time
- Consults with clients to evaluate individual project needs; works with designers and clients to shoot imagery best suited to project needs
- Serves as videography liaison with outside entities, as needed
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or Equivalent
- Three (3) years of experience that is relevant to the department assigned
- Valid Texas State Driver’s License
- Previous experience working in government or with elected officials

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base hourly pay rate for this position, which is $30.00 per hr, not including benefits, potential bonuses, or additional compensation. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future & continued salary growth.
