Job Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Technician for a short-term assignment supporting the commissioning of a test lab. This role requires hands-on mechanical skills, including the use of power and hand tools, as well as the ability to read and interpret technical drawings. The technician will assist in assembling and connecting hardware based on layout specifications. This is a fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail, reliability, and immediate availability.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize power tools, hand tools, and wrenches to assemble and install equipment
- Read and interpret technical drawings and layout diagrams
- Connect and configure hardware according to specifications
- Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs as needed
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous experience using power tools and hand tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be available to start immediately
