A growing, technology-enabled financial services organization is seeking a Lead Accountant to support complex accounting, reporting, and transaction-related processes within a collaborative, high-visibility team. This is a high-impact role offering a unique blend of accrual accounting, cash activity, and transaction exposure.

Key Responsibilities
- Support reporting and distribution processes
- Perform complex transaction-level calculations and processing
- Prepare and review journal entries and support month-end close
- Reconcile system activity to bank accounts and the general ledger
- Research and analyze accrual fluctuations and reporting variances
- Generate and distribute reports, statements, and invoices
- Coordinate ACH and wire activity and manage cash movement processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required
- Strong understanding of accrual accounting (GAAP)
- Experience with reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong problem-solving, organization, and communication skills
