Job Description
A Coater Operator sets up, operates, and monitors machinery that applies protective or decorative coatings (paint, ink, lacquer, varnish. They ensure consistent quality, adjust machine controls (speed, temperature), prepare coating solutions, and maintain equipment, in manufacturing/industrial setting.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in die changes as scheduled
- Perform quality and standard checks
- Complete appropriate data sheets as required
- Perform troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and safety inspections
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High degree of manual dexterity
- Ability to work as a team member
- Ability to read length measurements, gauges and meters
- Knowledge of production schedules
- Basic math skills, computer skills, and data entry
- Ability to follow work instructions, safety rules, and specifications with great attention to detail
- May be required to obtain a tow-motor license
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen & background check

If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
