Job Description
An Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for managing incoming payments and ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer invoices. This role includes generating billing statements, posting payments, resolving billing discrepancies, and following up on overdue accounts. The specialist works closely with customers and internal departments to maintain positive relationships and support cash flow. Strong communication, attention to detail, and proficiency with accounting software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite) are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Generate and send accurate customer invoices promptly.
- Monitor accounts to ensure timely payment and follow up on overdue balances.
- Apply incoming payments to the correct accounts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Communicate with customers to resolve billing issues or disputes professionally.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of all receivables transactions.
- Prepare regular aging reports and assist with month-end closing processes.
- Conduct collection activities on past-due accounts while maintaining positive client relationships.
- Comfortability completing collections to customers (retail stores, not individual people)
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment screening test
- Must have 3-4 years of experience in accounts receivable
- Some SAP/Net Suite Experience

The base salary range for this position is $52,000-56,160, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
