Job Summary:
One of Houston's largest government entities is seeking to fill a Financial Analyst I. The ideal candidate will assist accounting in meeting their financial and accounting goals.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in the design and development of financial policies and procedures. Assist representatives in reviewing and evaluating selected financial reports.
- Compiles financial data and prepares work papers, schedules, graphs, and charts as required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- One year of professional experience in finance, budget analysis, economics or a closely related field is required.
- Substitutions: Four years of pertinent professional or para-professional experience may substitute for the education requirement.
- An Associate’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a closely related field and two years of pertinent professional or para-professional experience may substitute for the education requirement.
- Must have a valid Texas Driver's License
