Job Description
The Director of Operations leads end-to-end manufacturing operations for medical device production, driving operational excellence, quality, and regulatory compliance. This role is responsible for developing manufacturing strategy, leading production leadership, and implementing lean initiatives to improve efficiency and scalability. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, a data-driven mindset, and deep experience in regulated manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute manufacturing strategies aligned with company growth and operational objectives
- Lead production leadership and cross-functional teams to drive performance, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Oversee manufacturing execution from raw materials through final assembly, ensuring quality, regulatory compliance, and on-time delivery
- Manage supply chain strategy, supplier relationships, sourcing, purchasing, and logistics partnerships
- Champion lean manufacturing, process improvement, capacity planning, and waste reduction initiatives
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management or a related field
- Minimum of 6 years of operations or manufacturing leadership experience
- Proven success leading regulated manufacturing operations and cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills
- Experience implementing lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
