Job Description
This newly created Director of AI & Automation role leads the development and execution of enterprise-wide AI and automation strategy for a large global organization. The position is responsible for identifying high-impact AI opportunities, deploying machine learning and automation solutions at scale, and enhancing decision-making across multiple business functions. This role provides hands-on technical oversight while also managing onshore and offshore teams. Based at the Americas headquarters, the director partners closely with leaders across Sales, Marketing, HR, Finance, IT, and Operations in a highly collaborative, innovative environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the organization’s AI and automation strategy aligned to business goals
- Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of AI models, machine learning tools, and automation solutions
- Oversee RPA initiatives using UiPath and Power Automate and identify new process automation opportunities
- Integrate AI solutions into existing systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, privacy, and security
- Manage and mentor onshore and offshore AI and automation teams, fostering cross-functional collaboration
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of AI/machine learning/automation experience and 5+ years in a leadership role
- Proven track record delivering AI and automation solutions at scale within complex organizations
- Strong experience with Azure AI, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Cloud, Python, and SQL; RPA – UiPath, Power Automate
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills; ability to travel up to 10%
