Job Description
Join our client’s manufacturing team as a Welder Help in the Asheboro / High Point area. In this role, you’ll be responsible for transporting materials, supplies, and finished products throughout the facility, assisting welders, pipewelders & electricians while working safely. You’ll ensure accuracy, efficiency, and safety in all handling operations while contributing to overall production success and team performance.
Responsibilities
- Assist other employees in their trades such as welders, pipefitters or electricians
- Handle Materials
- Use basic hand or power tools
- Work safely and adhere to all safety rules and policies
- Dispose of scrap materials to maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish required
- Prior experience in manufacturing or construction preferred
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for prolonged periods
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures and noise levels (90+ decibels)
