Job Description
As a Welder/Fabricator, you will take projects from blueprint to completion, working on railings, stairs, fences, and more. This role involves MIG welding, grinding, and finishing a variety of metals. If you have strong math skills, blueprint reading experience, and enjoy hands-on work, this opportunity is for you.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings to fabricate metal structures
- Cut, punch, drill, and weld materials including steel, aluminum, and brass
- Perform MIG welding (16 gauge – ½” steel) and grinding to high finish standards
- Ensure precision by measuring materials to 16ths of an inch
- Handle heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and meet company quality standards
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Strong math skills, including converting fractions and decimals
- Ability to read a tape measure and work from blueprints
- MIG welding experience required; TIG welding a plus
- Valid WI driver’s license required for insurance purposes
- Reliable attendance is essential
