Job Description
A growing industrial products manufacturer is seeking a qualified Welder to join its fabrication team. This position is responsible for laying out, fitting, and welding fabricated components to assemble structural products while meeting quality and safety standards.
A growing industrial products manufacturer is seeking a qualified Welder to join its fabrication team. This position is responsible for laying out, fitting, and welding fabricated components to assemble structural products while meeting quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders and process sheets to carry out welding and fabrication requirements
Set up and operate MIG, TIG and torch welding equipment to weld parts and assemble
Select appropriate equipment and plan layout, assembly and welding procedures
Lay out, position, align, and fit components together prior to welding
Secure parts using bolts, clamps and tack welds to prepare for final welding
Assemble parts and structures using bolting and riveting techniques
Qualifications and Requirements:
2-5 years of experience with Tig & Mig experience
Must have aluminum and stainless steel TIG welding experience
Experience operating cut-off saws and drill presses
Experience operating cut-off saws and drill presses
