Job Description
As a Weaver Machine Operator employee you will operate and monitor weaving equipment while ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety standards are met.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor weaving looms and related equipment.
- Repair broken warp/filling yarns, as well as troubleshoot and correct loom issues.
- Inspect fabric and identify weaving defects.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance.
- Assist with style changes, tie-ins, and machine setups.
- Doff and handle cloth rolls safely and keep records of production.
- Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Weaving experience is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to identify and correct fabric defects.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
