Job Description
Work for a family-owned company in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, that is hiring a Store Clerk. This position will involve talking to customers about store products, handling transactions and inventory, stocking supplies, and some housekeeping.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting customers, aiding with purchases, answering questions, and resolving complaints
- Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system, including cash register, scanners, and credit/debit card terminals, to process sales and payments
- Scanning items, ensuring correct pricing
- Inventory, stocking supplies
- Housekeeping
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer service or retail cashiering role is required
- Mechanical background is a plus
- Possess customer service and data entry skills
- Able to work overtime on Saturdays
- Able to stand for entire shift
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment screening
