Job Description
Our client is seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations within a structured corporate accounting environment. This role focuses on journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting while working extensively in Excel. The position plays an important role in the monthly close process and maintaining accurate financial records.
The ideal candidate will have early-career accounting experience and a strong analytical mindset. This role offers an opportunity to grow within an established accounting team while gaining exposure to financial reporting and operational accounting processes.
What You'll Do
- Prepare journal entries and maintain supporting documentation
- Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Assist with month-end close processes and financial reporting
- Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger activity
- Utilize Excel for analysis, reconciliations, and reporting support
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1–3 years of accounting experience (corporate or public accounting)
- Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with financial data
- Experience with ERP systems or accounting software

The base salary range for this position is $70000 – $85000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
