Job Description
- Design and develop next-generation audio amplifier and embedded hardware systems
- Own full product lifecycle responsibilities including schematic capture, PCB layout, firmware integration, and validation testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure performance, manufacturability, and compliance
- Serve as a technical leader and mentor within the electrical engineering group
Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and validate audio amplifier architectures (Class A-B through Class D, hybrid designs)
- Develop embedded software in ANSI C for microcontrollers and processors across ARM and RISC platforms
- Perform hardware/software integration, debugging, and optimization of mixed-signal designs
- Create schematics, PCB layouts, and supporting documentation using OrCAD and Altium Designer
- Conduct simulations, lab testing, and validation using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and audio analyzers
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required
- 7-8+ years of professional experience in electronic design with strong focus on audio amplifier development
- Extensive experience designing Class A-B through Class D amplifier systems
- Strong proficiency in embedded C programming (ANSI C)
- Hands-on experience with ARM and RISC-based architectures and development tools
- Proficiency in OrCAD and Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layout
- Strong foundation in analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design
- Experience with lab test equipment including oscilloscopes and audio analyzers

The base salary range for this position is $120,000–$140,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
