Job Description
Our client, one of the largest line pipe distributors in the United States, is seeking a reliable and hands-on Shipping Supervisor to lead daily shipping operations. This role oversees order processing, shipment coordination, and the efficient routing of freight. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy, safety, and timeliness of all outbound deliveries while fostering collaboration across departments. Responsibilities:
• Manage daily operational reports to track workload and schedule overtime as needed
• Ensure all shipping equipment (forklifts, pickers, cranes, etc.) is in proper working condition
• Coordinate with Logistics and Sales departments to prioritize and route shipments effectively
• Oversee loading and routing for motor freight, flatbeds, and local deliveries
• Communicate effectively with Receiving, Front Office, and upper management to resolve issues
• Ensure all shipping equipment (forklifts, pickers, cranes, etc.) is in proper working condition
• Coordinate with Logistics and Sales departments to prioritize and route shipments effectively

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends (approximately 50 hours/week)
• Must pass background check and drug screen
• Stable work history, preferably in an industrial or warehouse environment
• Reliable transportation and strong commitment to safety
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varying weather conditions
• Positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and strong leadership skills

The base pay range for this position is $23.00–$25.00 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
