Job Description:
Play a critical role in distribution when you become a Shipping / Receiving Clerk for one of the premier manufacturers of stainless and alloy pipe fittings & flanges in Sanford, FL.
This is a temp-to-hire opportunity that, with good attendance and a great work ethic, can lead to a long and rewarding career with numerous opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities
- As a Shipping / Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring proper labeling, shipping, receiving and inspection of the products being shipped
- Verify and document all receipts of incoming materials, goods and services
- Verify counts and identification of all incoming & outgoing shipments
- Ensure that deliveries are loaded, packaged correctly, billed out and leave the facility in a timely manner
- Support outgoing trucking, packaging and scheduling
- Generate and complete all packing lists, labels, tags and bill of ladings required to comply with customer requirements and internal standards on all outgoing shipments. Make sure all paperwork is complete and accurate
- Knowledge of efficient trailer loading procedures and proper material handling techniques as well as instructional skills
- Stage materials for receiving inspection
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 1 year of shipping / receiving experience
- Microsoft Office, Basic computer skills
- 1 year Forklift operation; forklift License
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base salary range for this position which is $17-18.00 per hour not including benefits, potential bonuses or additional compensation. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
