Job Description
An established company is seeking a Shipping Clerk to support daily order fulfillment and shipping operations. In this role, you will pull and inspect customer orders, prepare freight and small-parcel shipments, and operate material-handling equipment. This position requires accuracy, attention to detail, and prior hands-on experience operating a stand-up forklift. You will report to the Shipping Supervisor and work independently and as part of a team to maintain an efficient and safe shipping environment.
Responsibilities:
- Pick and inspect customer orders accurately according to pick lists and shipping requirements
- Prepare freight and small-parcel shipments, including wrapping pallets and loading trucks
- Operate stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks while following established safety practices
- Use handheld scanners to accurately complete shipping transactions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while supporting additional shipping duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 1–3 years of shipping experience, including domestic and international shipping
- Prior hands-on stand-up forklift experience required; candidates must be familiar and comfortable operating a stand-up forklift
- Reach truck experience is a plus
- Ability to perform basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- High level of accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team with limited supervision
- Ability to work Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with overtime on weekends

The base pay range for this position is $18.00–$18.00 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
