Job Description
We are hiring a hands-on floor lead with advanced sewing skills and a strong eye for workmanship. In this role, you will sew daily while supporting production flow and performing in-process quality checks. You will coach operators, help troubleshoot issues, and confirm products meet customer specifications. The position also supports assembly and basic equipment operation as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support sewing/production associates in the assigned area
- Provide technical sewing support and help resolve quality or process issues
- Train and cross-train team members on proper techniques and workmanship standards
- Perform production sewing daily while completing quality checks
- Assist in all areas of fabrication, including assembly and machine operation
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Strong industrial or commercial sewing experience required
- Ability to meet quality/workmanship standards and work in a fast-paced production environment
- Basic quality/inspection knowledge; able to read prints and measure accurately to 1/16 inch
- High school diploma or equivalent; basic math skills (fractions/measurements) and strong communication
