Job Description
The Field Service and Applications Technician supports customers by diagnosing, analyzing, and repairing CNC and metal forming equipment both remotely and on-site. This role also plays a key part in installing, commissioning, and training customers on new and upgraded machinery. The ideal candidate has strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills and thrives in a hands-on, customer-facing environment. This position offers a mix of technical service, training, and customer support responsibilities with significant travel.
Responsibilities:
- Install, commission, and test manufacturing equipment at customer sites
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control system issues
- Train customer personnel on equipment operation, setup, and maintenance
- Provide remote technical support and complete detailed service reports
- Communicate technical issues, customer feedback, and sales opportunities internally
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Associate’s degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on experience
- 3+ years of experience in field service, maintenance, or industrial equipment repair
- Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and fluid power diagrams
- Willingness to travel frequently (valid driver’s license required; passport preferred)

The base salary range for this position is $70,000–$90,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
