Job Description
The Sr. Full Stack Software Engineer will serve as a key technical leader, designing and implementing software solutions that support employees, clients, and organizational operations. This role involves creating stable, scalable applications, analyzing current systems to identify improvements, and ensuring security and performance standards are met. The position also provides mentorship to junior developers, guides architectural decisions, and helps shape the organization’s software strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in the development of complex software applications, ensuring quality and reliability.
- Engage in Agile processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and end users to gather and clarify requirements.
- Maintain and update technical documentation for code, APIs, and software functionality.
- Conduct code reviews and collaborate with team members to maintain high coding standards.
- Identify inefficiencies or issues in existing software and propose solutions.
- Assess and manage security risks within software products.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, or a related field,
- Minimum of two years of relevant software development experience.
- Proficiency in communicating complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Basic knowledge of database systems, including SQL and NoSQL.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and document software defects.
- Solid understanding of how code and software architecture relate to business objectives.
- Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps).
- Experience building APIs for internal and external systems.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of property and casualty insurance products, rating, and policy endorsements.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and execute projects in an Agile environment.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base salary range for this position is $125,000 – $150,000, not including benefits, potential bonuses or additional compensation. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth
