Job Description:
Join a stable, values-driven company with deep Midwestern roots as a Senior Frontend Engineer. Our growing IT department is undergoing a significant digital transformation, and this critical role will be instrumental in leading the design and development of a crucial, enterprise-wide platform. You will provide technical leadership to junior team members, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions. This exciting work will leverage a modern tech stack, including Angular, .NET (C#, .NET Core), HTML5, JavaScript, and Visual Studio.
Responsibilities:     
- Lead the design and development of crucial enterprise applications, focusing on the frontend experience using Angular and complementary technologies like REACT and (C#) .NET.
- Define and contribute to software development standards, patterns, and best practices for design, architecture, security, and quality across the IT department.
- Develop high-quality, efficient, and well-documented code while actively participating in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure application reliability.
- Serve as a go-to technical resource and mentor for Software Developers, providing guidance on design, coding practices, and complex problem-solving.
- Manage and enhance the existing software solutions by identifying areas for improvement, implementing appropriate changes, and maintaining technical documentation (design specifications, deployment instructions).
- Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum environment, working closely with business stakeholders, gathering system design information, and ensuring development aligns with complex business requirements.
- Maintain and integrate applications with internal systems using REST/SOAP APIs and message-based services, while staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
  Qualifications and Requirements:     
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Expert-level proficiency in modern frontend frameworks, specifically Angular and/or React, alongside deep knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and HTML5/CSS3.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience designing, building, and consuming APIs and microservices (REST, SOAP, or message-based).
- Proven ability to provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers, fostering best practices and high-quality code.
- Extensive experience working within an Agile/Scrum development environment with a strong understanding of sprint cycles, delivery, and iterative development.
- A solution-oriented mindset with the proven capability to drive projects independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., QA, Business Analysts, Stakeholders).

The base salary range for this position is $100,000 – $140,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
