Job Description
This position is responsible for managing high-volume accounts payable functions across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal policies. You will play a key role in maintaining vendor relationships, resolving discrepancies, and supporting month-end processes. The role requires the ability to navigate multiple accounting systems while operating efficiently in a deadline-driven environment. You’ll collaborate closely with internal departments and external vendors to ensure smooth invoice processing and payment execution while contributing to overall financial accuracy and process improvement.

Your Responsibilities
• Process and verify a high volume of vendor invoices with accurate coding for thier two locations
• Ensure proper approvals and compliance with company policies
• Reconcile AP transactions and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Maintain vendor records including W-9s, payment terms, and documentation
• Execute payments via check, ACH, and wire transfers
• Assist with month-end close and AP reporting activities
• Partner with vendors and internal teams to resolve invoice/payment issues
• Support compliance with accounting standards and assist with 1099 reporting

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required (Bachelor’s preferred)
• 3+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

• Familiarity with ERP systems (Great Plains and/or QuickBooks Desktop preferred)
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
