Job Description
The Secondary Operations Lead oversees production teams to ensure efficient operations, quality control, and safety compliance. They coordinate workflow, train employees, and troubleshoot production issues to meet deadlines and performance targets. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential for this role. Additionally, they work closely with management to implement process improvements and maintain operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and line management to the team, coordinating workloads.
- Ensure that safe practices are adhered to at all times, including wearing PPE as appropriate.
- Acquire knowledge of safety procedures, work instructions, and associated documentation.
- Achieve shift production targets on time and to quality standards.
- Diagnose problem causes and take corrective action.
- Adhere to schedule, adjusting schedules as needed, liaising with planning to ensure efficiency.
- Assist with other workers doing trimming, shot blasting, packing parts, shipping & receiving, and documentation.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Mechanical aptitude, experience with gauges, micrometers, tape measure & hand tools
- Ability to lead a team & have strong work ethic
- Strong math skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repetitively
- Previous trim, press or injection molding experience
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen & background check

The base pay range for this position is $23 an hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
