Job Description
The Sanitation, Warehouse associate helps ensure a safe and healthy work environment by maintaining cleanliness throughout warehouse facilities, including dry, cooler, freezer, and assigned office areas. This role performs general janitorial and sanitation duties such as sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and handling cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety and hazmat guidelines. Associates are expected to follow all company health and safety policies, report unsafe conditions promptly, and complete required safety training. The position may also involve operating a pallet jack to transport refuse and performing other related duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary warehouse environment, including dry, cooler, freezer, and assigned office areas.
- Perform general janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and proper disposal of waste.
- Follow all company health, safety, and hazmat guidelines, including safe handling of cleaning chemicals and reporting unsafe conditions immediately
- Complete assigned tasks accurately and on time, including required safety training and operation of equipment such as a pallet jack when needed.
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
- Minimum of 6 months of general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial experience preferred.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines, handle cleaning chemicals properly, and perform physical tasks in warehouse environments, including cooler and freezer areas.

Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
