Job Description
As a Sanitation Supervisor, you will report directly to the Sanitation Manager and play a critical role in ensuring facility-wide sanitation, food safety, and regulatory compliance. This position oversees sanitation operations across multiple shifts, supporting production readiness while maintaining high standards for cleanliness, safety, and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Follow direction from the Sanitation Manager to implement sanitation procedures, programs, and regulatory requirements
- Ensure all equipment and production areas are properly cleaned and safe for operation
- Maintain and enforce sanitation, GMP, and safety standards throughout the facility
- Execute the Master Sanitation Schedule and SSOPs; assist with hands-on sanitation activities as needed
- Support environmental monitoring programs, including ATP testing
- Perform Clean-In-Place (CIP) processes on production equipment and systems
- Assist with compliance efforts related to food safety programs and third-party audits
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Prior supervisory experience in industrial or high-speed manufacturing environments required (food production strongly preferred)
- Strong background in regulated manufacturing environments with sanitation standards
- Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate teams in a fast-paced setting
- Self-directed with the ability to work independently
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and safety awareness skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Willingness to be trained in Lockout/Tagout, fall protection, confined space entry, and forklift operation
- Must pass background check and drug screening

The base salary range for this position is $25/hr.+, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
