Job Description
As a Sanitation Supervisor, you will report directly to the Sanitation Manager and play a critical role in ensuring facility-wide sanitation, food safety, and regulatory compliance. This position oversees sanitation operations across all shifts, supporting production readiness while maintaining high standards for cleanliness, safety, and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Follow the direction of the Sanitation Manager to implement plant sanitation procedures, programs, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all equipment and production areas are properly cleaned and safe for operation.
- Maintain and enforce high sanitation, GMP, and safety standards throughout the facility.
- Follow the Master Sanitation Schedule and SSOPs; assist with departmental sanitation activities as needed.
- Assist with ATP swabs and environmental monitoring programs.
- Perform CIP (Clean-In-Place) functions on yeast tanks and brew systems.
- Support compliance with FSSC 22000 Food Safety standards and third-party audits by following programs outlined in the Food Safety and Quality Manual.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Prior supervisory experience in industrial or high-speed food manufacturing environments required. Union plant experience preferred.
- Strong foundation in food processing manufacturing; baking experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and train teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-directed with the ability to work independently without close supervision.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and safety awareness skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability and willingness to be trained in Lockout/Tagout, fall protection, confined space entry, and forklift operation.
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening

The base salary range for this position is $25/hr.+, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
