The Reserves Network is looking for a motivated, results-driven individual to join our sales team as a Sales Development Representative (SDR). This is an entry-level, hunter-focused role ideal for someone eager to build a career in sales and business development. In this position, you will be responsible for identifying and prospecting new business opportunities through outbound sales activity, qualifying potential clients, and securing sales appointments in support of branch revenue growth.
In this role, you will partner closely with Branch Managers and Account Executives to develop a sales pipeline, advance opportunities, and support the successful closing of new business. This role offers a clearly defined development path into a full-cycle Account Executive position based on performance and demonstrated competencies.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, including cold calling, email outreach, and social networking
- Research target accounts and decision makers across all TRN service lines
- Qualify potential new business based on defined criteria, including need, authority, timing, and fit
- Secure qualified sales appointments for Branch Managers and Account Executives
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline aligned with branch revenue goals
- Partner with branch leadership to transition qualified opportunities and support deal progression
- Track and report sales activity accurately and consistently in HubSpot
- Meet or exceed activity, appointment, and pipeline metrics
Requirements
- Comfort with high-volume outbound prospecting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience using CRM systems (HubSpot preferred)
- Energetic, self-starter with a competitive, results-driven mindset
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to conduct yourself in a professional manner in all situations
- Technology savvy with the ability to navigate multiple sales tools and systems
- 1–3 years of B2B sales, business development, or customer-facing experience preferred
- Staffing or workforce solutions industry experience preferred
- Experience with ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar prospecting tools preferred
