Job Description
The Robotics Technician provides hands-on technical support, troubleshooting, and repair of automated and facility equipment within a cold-production environment. This role is responsible for maintaining assigned robotics and production equipment, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The technician will also assist with new equipment installation, modifications, and peer training as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor production and VRT areas to ensure assigned robotics and equipment operate safely and efficiently
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Respond to downtime events and recommend corrective actions to reduce future disruptions
- Complete work orders accurately and maintain maintenance documentation
- Follow all company safety policies while supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 months industrial maintenance experience
- Proficiency with hand and power tools; ability to read tape measures and industrial blueprints
- Basic knowledge of electrical components, controls, and safety practices
- Ability to work in cold environments (-35°F to 50°F) and stand/walk for 12-hour shifts
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
