Job Description:
A global robotics organization is seeking a Robot Application Engineer to support the expansion of its U.S. market. This role focuses on robot application engineering, system integration, and technical support for customers, while serving as a key technical resource for the sales team.
Manufacturing and fabrication remain at the company’s Korean headquarters; the U.S. team is responsible for design support, application engineering, deployment, and customer-facing technical execution. This is a hands-on, mid-level engineering role ideal for someone who enjoys working across engineering, sales, and customer environments.
Responsibilities:
• Program, integrate, and commission industrial robotic systems for customer applications
• Provide technical support to customers during installation, startup, and ongoing operation
• Support the sales team with application engineering, technical feasibility, and solution design
• Integrate robots with PLCs, vision systems, sensors, conveyors, and safety systems
• Perform on-site troubleshooting, testing, and performance optimization
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including robot programs and system layouts
• Contribute to continuous improvement of applications, processes, and customer solutions

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 4–7+ years of experience in robot application engineering, automation, or system integration
• Hands-on experience programming and commissioning industrial robots
• Working knowledge of PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens), HMIs, sensors, and industrial automation components
• Strong troubleshooting skills in real-world production environments
• Comfortable working directly with customers and cross-functional teams
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed
• Strong communication skills and ability to operate in a small, fast-moving team
• 4–7+ years of experience in robot application engineering, automation, or system integration
• Hands-on experience programming and commissioning industrial robots
