Job Description:
A healthcare organization is seeking a Registered Dietitian to support department needs by providing nutrition education and nutrition therapy to patients.
A healthcare organization is seeking a Registered Dietitian to support department needs by providing nutrition education and nutrition therapy to patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nutrition education and medical nutrition therapy to patients in collaboration with the healthcare team to support optimal clinical outcomes.
- Manage daily patient care schedule efficiently to ensure timely and effective nutrition services.
- Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered nutrition care tailored to individual needs and conditions.
- Contribute to departmental initiatives through projects, presentations, and educational in-services.
- Support training and mentoring of new dietitian staff and dietetic interns after one year of clinical experience.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Clinical Registered Dietitian with similar experience within Med-Surg/Critical Care
- Must have active and valid Texas Registered Dietitian Licensure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
