Job Description
Are you organized, dependable, and detail-oriented? We are seeking a Receiving Coordinator to support daily receiving, inventory, and material handling operations in a clean, technology-driven manufacturing environment. In this role, you'll receive and verify incoming shipments, maintain accurate inventory records, coordinate material movement, and ensure production teams have the materials they need to keep operations running efficiently. You'll also work closely with warehouse, inventory, and production teams to resolve shipping issues and support daily operational goals. Responsibilities
- Receive incoming materials and verify shipments against purchase orders and shipping documentation.
- Accurately record receiving transactions using inventory and warehouse management systems.
- Coordinate the put-away of materials to designated inventory locations.
- Resolve shipment discrepancies and communicate with vendors or carriers as needed.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper documentation and material tracking.
- Manage lab coat inventory, barcode scanning, replacements, and related supply activities.
- Replenish daily production and laboratory supplies.
- Support inventory control activities and departmental objectives.
- Report safety concerns, damaged shipments, or operational issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area while following company procedures.
- Perform additional warehouse and receiving duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
Experience
- Previous warehouse, receiving, shipping, inventory, or material handling experience preferred.
- Experience with stocking, loading, and inventory control is highly desirable.
- Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, MES, or similar inventory software is a plus.
- OSHA Forklift Certification is a plus.
Skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred; Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility.
- Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends as needed to support production demands.
