Job Description
Join a growing Quality Department and help ensure products meet strict engineering and customer standards. In this role, you’ll perform inspections, complete documentation, maintain calibration records, and support continuous improvement efforts across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Inspect machined, incoming, and in-process products per drawings and specifications
- Perform and document First Article Inspections and create/maintain inspection forms
- Manage calibration of all measurement tools and maintain accurate calibration records
- Process quality documentation including PSIRs, QIPs, NCMRs, and scrap
- Conduct internal testing, capability studies, and Gage R&R when needed
- Collaborate with Engineering, Purchasing, Vendors, and Customer Service to resolve quality concerns
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills
- Proficient with inspection tools: micrometers, calipers, height gauges, pin blocks, go/no-go, radius gauges, telescopic gauges, chamfer gauges
- Ability to read blueprints/CAD drawings
- Basic math and root-cause analysis ability
- Experience with calibration, ISO, and MRP/ERP is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Must complete pre-employment screening
