Job Description
Facilitate and perform various Quality Assurance functions in support of Quality Control, including but not limited to inspection, generating inspection reports, testing, data analysis, corrective and preventive action activities, auditing, non-conforming material control, and training.
Responsibilities:
- Perform verification/inspection (variable and attribute) of in-coming, in-process, or outgoing products within the Quality department, including but not limited to Receiving Inspection or Final Inspection in compliance with inspection plans, procedures, specifications, and/or engineering drawings.
- Identify and segregate product that exhibits workmanship and material defects through the completion of visual inspection, variable and attribute inspection.
- Perform detailed measurement inspections utilizing standard measurement equipment, including but not limited to micrometers, calipers, height gages, thread gages, linear scales, etc.
- Participate in the internal audit program including preparation, execution and follow up of assigned audits. (As applicable)
- Facilitate customer source inspection and/or perform customer delegated source inspection. (As applicable)
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of three (3) years of inspection experience
- Oral, Written and Technical Communication
- Organization and Planning skills
- Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Customer/Vendor Relations and Diplomacy
- Mechanical Aptitude for Manufacturing
- Blueprint Reading/Comprehension
- Knowledgeable/skilled in use of basic tools and measuring equipment
- Must be able to pass pre-employment criminal background and drug screen

If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
