Job Description
The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for ensuring all food safety and quality standards are met across production lines. This position conducts product inspections, monitors processes, and assists in maintaining compliance with company and regulatory requirements. The role partners with production and operations teams to resolve quality issues, ensuring product integrity and consistency.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and record food safety and quality assurance audits on production lines.
- Monitor products for compliance with specifications, including weight, packaging, and labeling.
- Conduct inspections for proper cleaning, sanitation, and GMP compliance.
- Place products or equipment on QA Hold as necessary for non-conformances.
- Perform daily sensory evaluations and equipment calibrations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1–3 years of Quality Assurance or related experience, preferably in food manufacturing.
- Knowledge of quality control and inspection methods.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate across teams.

The base salary range for this position is $18-20 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
