Job Description
The Owner-Operator Recruiting Processor supports the Owner-Operator Truck and Driver Recruiting teams by qualifying and onboarding independent contractors into the fleet. This role is responsible for processing background checks, employment verifications, and compliance documentation while ensuring all FMCSA, Federal DOT, and company SOP requirements are met. The position requires strong attention to detail, frequent communication, and heavy phone usage to ensure timely and accurate onboarding. Collaboration with fleet owners, recruiters, and internal departments is key to success in this role.
Responsibilities
• Assist Fleet Recruiting Account Managers and Owner-Operator Recruiters with contractor and equipment qualification
• Process and review criminal background checks, MVRs, DAC reports, employment verifications, and accident/incidents
• Ensure compliance with FMCSA, Federal DOT regulations, ArcBest SOPs, and Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse registration
• Communicate daily with fleet owners, contractors, and internal teams regarding onboarding status
• Maintain accurate records and complete documentation efficiently and on time

• Experience in recruiting coordination, onboarding, compliance, or administrative processing preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously
• Comfortable with heavy phone usage and frequent communication
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
