Job Description
The QC Inspector (Final Inspection) is responsible for ensuring finished products meet company quality standards and customer specifications. This role focuses on final inspection of mechanical components by reviewing engineering drawings, performing dimensional and visual inspections, and verifying compliance with ISO and internal quality systems. The ideal candidate has prior manufacturing inspection experience, strong computer skills, and preferably an associate’s degree.
Responsibilities:
- Perform final inspections on finished products to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and customer requirements
- Conduct dimensional and visual inspections using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM, etc.)
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records in company systems
- Identify non-conformances and support root cause analysis and corrective actions
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree preferred
- 2+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and understanding GD&T
- Experience using precision measurement tools and inspection equipment
- Strong computer skills for documentation and reporting; familiarity with ISO 9001 preferred

The base pay range for this position is $52,000–$62,400 annually, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
