Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Project Coordinator to support essential home repair projects for low-income homeowners across the Houston area. This role ensures the successful coordination of contractors, volunteers, and project schedules while maintaining high-quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and committed to improving the lives of elderly and vulnerable homeowners. Responsibilities
- Acts as the face of the organization and actively leads construction efforts on project homes.
- Can lead groups of skilled and unskilled volunteers in construction projects and is responsible for training volunteers, keeping them on task, maintaining a safe and clean worksite, monitoring safety and quality and ensuring that all tasks are completed on schedule.
- Works closely with the Sr. Program Manager to develop and track the schedule of project homes, order tools and materials and troubleshoot problems.
- Ensure that the organization is represented in a positive and professional manner by completing each assigned project on time and on schedule, interacting positively with volunteers and homeowners and maintaining high quality and safety on site.
- Conduct on site orientations (including safety briefings) for volunteer groups and clearly communicate the homeowner’s story.
- Maintains Salesforce (records management system) to provide for proper evaluation, control and documentation for reporting of assigned programs.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Associate’s degree from a college or university; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Construction experience preferred.
- Forklift Certified
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lead diverse groups of volunteers on a wide array of tasks
- Ability to do physical labor, occasionally strenuous
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to high-quality work

The base pay range for this position is $18–$221 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Final compensation will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the very top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
